Persons with Disabilities Legislative Day
Connections and the ACCIL are supporting the Disability Law Colorado efforts along with Representative Ortiz’ office to have a PWD Legislative Day on March 1st.
If you wish to attend in person in Denver, let us know and a crew will be ready to greet you. If you would like to speak, as a person with lived experience, let us know as soon as possible so we can sign you up for time to speak.
Connections will be hosting Day at the Capitol virtually in our Greeley office conference room. We will provide a hot breakfast and coffee/tea. There will be a lot of disability specific bills proposed and many have to do with housing.

9AM Tributes for Disability Day in the House and Senate Chambers
10:00AM. Meeting with Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera in the Old Colorado State Library
11:00AM Meet and Greet with State Legislators in the House and Senate Chambers
11:30AM Rally and Lunch with General Assembly Members in the Old Colorado State Library
1PM Thank You/Closing remarks if needed, and head home
