Learn more with Connections

Knowledgeable Connections staff members and trained specialists are teaching valuable skills for consumers who live within our seven-county northeastern Colorado region.

Workshops and classes covering several topics are hosted throughout the year. These workshops are hosted in-person at our Greeley office. Many are also available online through video conferencing. All classes and workshops are provided free of cost.

Computer mouse and keyboardConnections has teamed with the High Plains Library District to create a technology workshop. This is through High Plains’ Book a Librarian program. This technology workshop is specific for the Connections community. It provides monthly sessions about computers. Participants will also learn about the Internet and associated software and practices.

If you are new to computers, smartphones, and the Internet, this workshop is for you. If you are an experienced computer user, and have questions about software, or if you want to learn new skills, plan on attending.

This 60-minute workshop will be hosted in-person at Connections at 1331 8th Avenue in Greeley. You can also participate through video conferencing. No fee applies for Connections consumers.

A man works on a notebook computerConnections has teamed with The Arc of Weld County to host a Computer Knowledge Workshop. This workshop is specific for the Connections community. Weekly instructional sessions allow time for learning valuable skills. Topics discussed include computers, the Internet, and associated software and practices.

If you are new to computers and the Internet, this workshop is for you. If you are just beginning to use a computer and want to learn basic skills and practices, join us. Instructors will use videos, written materials, and hands-on learning during the sessions.

This 60-minute workshop will be hosted at Connections at 1331 8th Avenue in Greeley. Participants can also join by video conferencing. There is no fee for Connections consumers.

The Arc of Weld County is also providing lunch at no cost for participants who attend in person. Joining the lunch is optional. It begins 30 minutes prior to the workshop.

  • Workshops include email and internet search, Microsoft Windows and Word basics, and telehealth and prescription refills. 
  • Skill level is for beginners.
  • Equipment is available for use  by participants during the workshop.
  • Optional lunch is available for in-person participants beginning at 12:30 p.m.
