Board Member Search

Connections for Independent Living is searching for additional dynamic board members to represent the communities of northeastern Colorado. If you are a person living with a disability of any type, and are passionate about equality for all, regardless of gender, age, culture, religion, and physical abilities, then Connections needs you to represent our neighbors at the local and state level.  If you live in Weld, Morgan, Logan, Washington, Sedgwick, Yuma or Phillips county, we need you, regardless of your board or leadership experience.

Connections is a non-profit serving those with disabilities through local, state and federal programs. Our mission is to promote the full inclusion and integration of people with all types of disabilities into all levels of society. Through systems advocacy, we advance civil rights and equal access on the local, state and federal levels.

Connections is overseen by a volunteer board of directors alongside a staff of expert professionals, who meet regularly to discuss issues of importance to the organization and our community to be heard as people with disabilities throughout Colorado. Peer support and leadership is a foundation of our core belief system. Persons with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply regardless of experience or accommodations desired or required. Connections is proudly served by a board that consists of over 85% of people who live with disabilities.
